What is Explore Enterprise?
A fantastic opportunity for students to learn about topics relevant to planning and running a business and to consider whether self-employment is right for them. It is designed to be practical, interactive, visual and based around discussions and activities. It aims to enable young people a feel of what running their own business would be like and what it would involve.
Students simply need to demonstrate a genuine interest in exploring self-employment to be accepted for the course. On successful completion they will be awarded with an accredited qualification. Prince’s Trust also offer further support and grants for those who would like to explore the self-employment option further.
I’m sure you’ll agree this will be a great chance for students to widen their horizons in terms of career exploration and will add significant value towards helping them make a well informed realistic career decision. For some, self-employment may not be an option that they might have considered.
There are a maximum of 20 student places available therefore allocation will be on a first come first served basis.
