ACCESS TO AND FROM COLLEGE DURING ROADWORKS
During the on-going roadworks access to the college will be as follows:
- If approaching the college from Blaby Road, turn into Dunton Street (laundrette on corner) and go left into Bassett Street (Bassett Street is normally no entry but access has been granted temporarily to college users). At the end of Bassett Street cross over Canal Street and enter the car park.
- If approaching from Countesthorpe Road, turn into Timber Street and then left into Dunton Street and right into Bassett Street.
- When leaving the car park turn left onto Canal Street and then first right into Timber Street and then first right into Dunton Street and up to Blaby Road.
Please note, although Timber Street is normally 'no entry' access has been granted to college users.
Please be aware that these roadworks are bound to cause considerable congestion at peak times, especially on Blaby Road.
The work is expected to be completed by Monday 13/02/12

UPDATE: 6th FEBRUARY 2012:

On Wednesday 8th February Bassett Street and the entrance to the college car park will be closed from 10am.
The current exit to the car park will become two way and will have traffic entering and leaving from this point. There will be a Council Worker controlling the traffic to and from our premises.
Timber Street, (which is just offset to the left of current car park exit) will become the road to and from the college at this point.
It is anticipated that the work will be completed by 4.30 pm. It is advised for as many people as possible to avoid coming in their vehicle on that day where possible. Please ensure that you, your students and visitors are aware of the situation and follow the Council workers instructions. After 4.30 pm the previous routes will be back in place. i.e. exit via Bassett Street, enter via Timber Street.
