North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College Group is showcasing the opportunities available for talented individuals to join its team delivering skills training as its expands student and apprenticeship numbers.
In addition, the College is seeking to resource its new MIRA Technology Institute, a £9.5 million specialist facility to train the next generation of engineers in the automotive industry.
The Group supports around 12,000 students in full and part time study, apprenticeships, higher education, professional courses and distance learning from four campuses in Warwickshire and Leicestershire, and four schools run by the Group’s Midland Academies Trust.
The College aims to attract skilled individuals from both education and industry to a range of employment opportunities at a special recruitment event to be held at its Wigston campus on Thursday, 8 March between 3pm and 7pm.
Opportunities include teaching full-time students and delivering apprenticeship training in the workplace. The College is particularly keen to hear from people with skills in the following areas:

Students’ learning is enhanced through purpose-designed training areas and industry-specific equipment in areas including CAD engineering, hospitality & catering, construction and electrical installation.
Its creative arts campus in Hinckley has the best facilities in the region and offers students access to state-of-the-art computing supported by industry-standard software and lecturing staff who are also skilled practitioners.
Both the advanced engineering centre at the Nuneaton campus and the Harrowbrook Construction Centre in Hinckley have been praised by regional businesses. Students can acquire traditional skills whilst also developing competencies in working with emerging technologies.
