Why employ an engineering Apprentice?

Paul Dancer, Strategic Lead for Technical Apprenticeships at North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College discusses why Apprenticeships are the top training option for engineering firms:

“With an extra 130,000 people expected to be working in engineering over the next five years in the Midlands alone, (National Careers Service 2016) it is a major priority area for the region. Working with a number of small, medium and large employers, the College Group offers Apprenticeship programs designed to meet these industry demands.

“Our current offer includes:

  • Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship in Improving Operational Performance – Engineering operations
  • Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering – Fabrication and Welding
