Our next Open Event is taking place this month.
The event is ideal for those looking to start a full-time, part-time or Apprenticeship programme from September 2017.
The event will take place on Wednesday 14 June from 5.00pm to 8.00pm. The College is located on Blaby Road, South Wigston, LE18 4PH or for those using a satnav LE18 4PN.
Visitors will have the chance to find out about courses in: AAT, Access to Higher Education, Apprenticeships, Accountancy, Business, Childcare & Early Years, CICM, CIM, CIPD, CIPS, Computing, Construction, Engineering, FE Choices, Floristry, Foundation Learning, Games Design, Hair & Beauty, Health & Social Care, Higher Education, Media, Motor Vehicle, Part-Time Courses, Public Services, Sport and Travel & Tourism.
As part of the event, visitors will have the opportunity take a look at the College’s facilities including the gym, Hair & Beauty Salons, media studio and radio station Wiggle FM.
Tracey Forman, Group Director for Student Experience and Support at the College said: “Whether you are leaving school this summer or are an adult looking to upskill or re-train this is the perfect chance to find out about the wide range of career options available.
“Our full-time and part-time courses cover a huge range of sectors and are designed to fully prepare you for your dream career, whether you aim to go onto university level study, further training or full-time employment.
“Our Apprenticeship hub will also be packed full of information. These programmes are ideal for those who want to work as a paid employee whilst working towards their qualification.”
“For those who aren’t sure which career path they want to take, our Guidance Team will be on hand to provide free, impartial advice.
“Information on learning and financial support including travel bursaries will also be available.”
