The introduction of the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP) is part of the overall Apprenticeship reforms that start in April.
Only providers on the RoATP list are approved to deliver apprenticeship training.
Debbie Scotton, Business Development Manager at North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College said: “This is fantastic news for us as a training provider. The aim of this register is to give employers ‘a level of assurance that the providers they are using have the capacity and capability to deliver good quality apprenticeship training,’ (Gov.uk).
“As an approved training provider, we already have over 500 employer partners and train around 1,800 Apprentices across seven main sector areas. We are working closely with employers to ensure a smooth transition from frameworks and to support them through the changes to funding.”
“We’d encourage any employer who is thinking about taking on an Apprentice to get in touch with our Business Development Team today.”
