SLC Construction students recently undertook a construction project at Hatham Old Cricket Club which is based in Loughborough. The work they have done is part of the wider Natwest Cricket Force project.
The work was carried out from the 2nd – 4th February 2015 and involved extending the changing rooms, both home and away, as well as stud work partitioning which was then insulated and boarded.
Hatham Old Cricket Club Chairman, Neil Swift, said, “The work has been carried out to a very high standard and completed quickly and efficiently despite the cold conditions. Your students should be very proud of what they have achieved and I hope this project will help them with their future development.”
Student, Rafal Prusakiewicz, said, “I liked the experienced because it’s good to know what it’s like working on site.”
