South Leicestershire College announces a new Interim Principal
8th March 2010South Leicestershire College’s Principal, Christine Bullock has announced her departure from the College at the end of February to pursue other interests.
The Governors at the College are delighted to have appointed Matthew Pinches as Interim Principal from March 1st.
Ann Height Chair of South Leicestershire College’s Corporation said,
"I thank Chris for her time at the College in particular initiating the introduction of the Sports Academies, progressing the relocation of South Leicestershire College so effectively and leading and supporting the College's success in the AoC Beacon Awards and LSIS STAR Awards. We wish Christine all the very best for the future".
Matthew Pinches will lead South Leicestershire College through its move from the old Wigston site to a brand new state-of-the-art campus in South Wigston opening September 2010.
Matt said "This is a very exciting time for us. Christine has established a great platform for future success".
