Students from South Leicestershire College, part of North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College, are preparing to compete in the WorldSkills Competition finals next week.
Two students will be testing their skills as part of the competitions which take place during The Skills Show at the NEC, Birmingham between 17-19 November.
The finals are the last stage of a number of local and regional competitions that have been taking place over the last year. Finalists will now be competing for a place on the podium and a place in Squad and Team UK where learners will compete at an international level.

Competing on a national and even international level is a fantastic opportunity for these students, we wish them the best of luck as we prepare to cheer them on in the finals.”
The competitions will take place during The Skills Show: the nation's largest skills and careers event. Attracting nearly 80,000 visitors annually, the show provides hands-on experiences that inspire young people to explore careers, skills, training and apprenticeships motivating them to find out more about the world of work.
