Medical and Police Registration
Medical Registration
When you arrive, you should register with a Doctor (General Practitioner / GP) in case you are ill during your stay. This will make it a lot easier to access National Health Service (NHS) treatment if you become ill.
You may also want to think about Health Insurance to protect yourself if you suffer any illness or injury, which is not covered by the National Health Service (NHS).
If you need any advice on medical registration please ask at the International Office.
Police Registration
If you are from one of the countries listed below, your Visa may have a note advising you to register with the police. If it does, you must register at the Leicestershire Constabulary Nationality Office within 7 days of arrival. If you require further assistance or advice, please contact the college when you arrive and our International Officers will advise you what to do.
