Feeling the heat this summer? Need an ice-cream to cool-down?

Thanks to Chris Beesley-Reynolds, SLC now has its own ice-cream making machine which, amongst other amazing things, can also produce cocktails!

At a recent catering and hospitality show in London, Chris quizzed the suppliers before entering the competition and was luckily drawn for the first prize, winning the £2,000 Jestic ice-cream maker. Speaking about his win, Chris said:

"This wonderful addition to our catering equipment will enable us to take students to a whole new area of learning, the ice cream maker will also produce healthy yogurts, slush, frozen fresh fruit juice and cocktails, your imagination is your limitation. We are one of a few colleges with the ability to make frozen churned produce and I can see it being very popular with the students and staff alike."
