Whether you have a career in mind, hope to go to University or just want to come and see what’s out there, a Diploma is the perfect way to explore your options! Here at SLC we offer Diplomas for 16+ year olds.

The Diploma is a qualification designed to help young people develop skills such as creative thinking, team work and project management – all designed to prepare you for wherever you want to go in life!
We are offering Diplomas in the following areas:
Information Technology Diploma
This Diploma looks at how organisations work and the role technology can play. You will learn what different people in the industry do, as well as how to manage projects, design new business solutions, develop websites, manage networks and deliver IT support. You will also explore the use of technology in business, and learn how to create digital media solutions to meet a customer’s business requirements.
Engineering Diploma
This Diploma opens up the ideas and concepts behind engineering, and how they impact upon the modern world. You’ll be introduced to key engineering principles such as design materials, electronic systems, maintenance and manufacturing.
Construction and the Built Environment Diploma
This Diploma covers a wide range of different industries such as architecture, structural steelwork, painting and decorating, glazing and surveying. It has been developed by industry and educational specialists to help you gain the right mix of skills and understanding.
