|Introduction||Engineering is an exciting, ever-evolving industry that opens up a huge range of career options. This Apprenticeship will give you the underpinning knowledge you need to become a trained operator in the manufacturing sector. |
|Study Outline||Optional areas include:|
|Entry Requirements||GCSE grades D or above in English, Maths and Science. |
If youre interested in becoming an Apprentice, you will need to be employed or find an employer who is recruiting an Apprentice.

|Equipment||Overalls, safety boots, pen, calculator. |
For safety reasons, entry to the workshops will not be allowed without the required safety equipment of overalls and safety boots.
|Attendance||Two years, with one day per week at College.|
|Assessment||Assessment will be via assignments and workplace observations. |
|Progression||Potential job roles include: Metal Working and Machine Operative, Quality Control, CNC Operator, Maintenance Operative, Process Operator.|
You could also progress to an Advanced Apprenticeship.
