|Introduction||Operational Delivery Officers have the vital job of keeping the country running. They make sure that citizens get the services and protection they need, and help people understand what is available and what they need to do to comply with the rules. Operational Delivery Officers make a difference every day to the lives of millions of people. They do hundreds of jobs in most departments and agencies in central government. They also work in local government, delivering services for towns, cities, boroughs or counties. This apprenticeship will give great development opportunities to equip Apprentices to be an internationally-recognised professional in the part of the Civil Service that really makes things happen for customers and businesses.|
|Study Outline||The expected duration of the Level 3 Operational Delivery Officer Apprenticeship is 15-18 months and you will be assessed against knowledge, skills and behaviour competencies. The programme also includes two mandatory qualifications in the Principles of Operational Delivery. If not already achieved you will be required to complete level 2 qualifications in English and maths. This Apprenticeship culminates with an End Point Assessment (EPA) which includes a showcase portfolio, work-based project, presentation and interview.|
|Entry Requirements||All applicants must hold 4 GCSEs at Grade D or above to include maths & English. |
As an Apprentice you must have secure employment within a public service organisation.
|Equipment||Access to an e-portfolio system will be provided|
|Attendance||This apprenticeship is delivered mostly in the workplace by a visiting Assessor.|
Attendance at college may be required to complete English and maths.
|Assessment||You will compile a portfolio of evidence to show competency against the knowledge, skills and behaviours of the Standard. You will also be required to complete two mandatory exam based units.|
The End Point Assessment includes a showcase portfolio, work-based project, presentation and interview.
