IntroductionIt’s a great time to join the Health Care Sector which is set to boom over the next few years.

Study Outline-Introduction to Communication in Health, Social Care or Children’s and Young Peoples Settings.
-Introduction to Personal Development in Health, Social Care or Children’s and Young Peoples Settings.
-Introduction to Equality and Inclusion in Health, Social Care or Children’s and Young Peoples Settings.
-Induction to Duty of Care in Health, Social Care or Children’s and Young People’s Settings.
-Principles of Safeguarding and Protection in Health and Social Care.
-The Role of the Health and Social Care Worker.
-Implement Person –Centred Approaches in Health and Social Care.
-Contribute to Health and Safety in Health and Social Care.
-Handle Information in Health and Social Care Settings.
Entry RequirementsEnglish and Maths at Entry Level 3.
All learners are required to undertaken a DBS prior to starting there Apprenticeship.
If you’re interested in becoming an Apprentice, you will need to be employed or find an employer who is recruiting an Apprentice.

EquipmentThe equipment required to complete the Apprenticeship would be outlined by the employer and assessor.
AttendanceAn assessor would be allocated to undertake the varying framework components within the work place and would generally visit at least once a month.
AssessmentWorkplace assessment and portfolio evidence.
ProgressionYou could progress to the Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.

QualificationUpon successful completion of the course you will achieve the overall Apprenticeship Framework for Level 2 Diploma Health and Social Care.
