IntroductionThe role of a Customer Service Practitioner is to deliver high quality products and services to the customers of their organisation. Your core responsibility will be to provide a high quality service to customers which will be delivered from the workplace, digitally, or through going out into the customers own locality. These may be one-off or routine contacts and include dealing with orders, payments, offering advice, guidance and support, meet-and-greet, sales, fixing problems, after care, service recovery or gaining insight through measuring customer satisfaction. You may be the first point of contact and work in any sector or organisation type.
Study OutlineDuring this 12 -15 month Apprenticeship you will be building the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be a competent Customer Service Practitioner. You may also complete a City & Guilds accredited qualification, Level 2 Diploma for Customer Service Practitioners. You will also be required to be assessed at English and maths level 2. The Apprenticeship Standard culminates with an End Point Assessment(EPA) where you will showcase your skills.
Entry RequirementsMinimum entry requirements of grade E or above in English and maths or equivalent. As an Apprentice you will need to be employed in a Customer Service Practitioner role.
EquipmentNo equipment is required. You will be issued with an e-portfolio
AttendanceThe Apprenticeship is delivered mostly in the workplace by a visiting Assessor. Attendance for English and maths may be required.
AssessmentThe Diploma for Customer Service Practitioner is assessed via the compliance of a portfolio of evidence.
The End Point Assessment for this Apprenticeship is a portfolio to showcase the knowledge, skills and behaviours required, an observation and professional discussion
ProgressionFollowing completion of this Apprenticeship and promotion in to a suitable role you could move on to a level 3 Apprenticeship
