IntroductionThis is a well recognised qualification that will develop your employability skills in IT. The course is a part time, evening course designed for adults and will be run over 24 weeks on Tuesday evenings from 6-9pm.
Study OutlineTo achieve the Level 2 Award in IT Users you will complete 3 units as follows:

- Word Processing Software (Level 2)
- Spreadsheet Software (Level 2)
- Database Software (Level 1)
Entry RequirementsA level 1 qualification in IT or a basic understanding of IT.

This course is not suitable for beginners.
EquipmentYou may require a folder and memory stick to store documents.
AttendanceThe course will commence on 25 September 2017 and the duration is 24 weeks. You will be required to attend on Tuesdays from 6-9pm.
AssessmentYou will produce a portfolio of evidence towards the unit achievement. There are no exams.
ProgressionYou could progress onto a level 3 qualification in IT.

The qualification will provide you with valuable IT skills to help you gain employment.
