|Introduction||Ideal for those looking to pursue a career in childcare, this Apprenticeship gives learners the opportunity to work with children and young people while also gaining an understanding into their development.|
|Study Outline||You will be assigned a dedicated Assessor who will support you through your qualification in your workplace. Examples of units you will cover include: communication, personal development and equality and inclusion in health, social care or children and young people's settings.|
|Entry Requirements||You will be required to hold a minimum of a grade D GSCE in Maths and English. |

|Equipment||This will be discussed at interview.|
|Attendance||Four days per week in the work place and one day per week at College.|
|Assessment||Assessment will take place in your work setting.|
|Progression||Progression to the Advanced level Apprenticeship. Once you have completed an Advanced Level, potential job roles include: Nursery Worker/Supervisor, Nursery Nurse/Nursery Teaching Assistant.|
