IntroductionIdeal for those looking to pursue a career in childcare, this Apprenticeship gives learners the opportunity to work with children and young people while also gaining an understanding into their development.
Study OutlineYou will be assigned a dedicated Assessor who will support you through your qualification in your workplace. Examples of units you will cover include: communication, personal development and equality and inclusion in health, social care or children and young people's settings.
Entry RequirementsYou will be required to hold a minimum of a grade D GSCE in Maths and English.

If youÂ’re interested in becoming an Apprentice, you will need to be employed or find an employer who is recruiting an Apprentice.

EquipmentThis will be discussed at interview.
AttendanceFour days per week in the work place and one day per week at College.
AssessmentAssessment will take place in your work setting.
ProgressionProgression to the Advanced level Apprenticeship. Once you have completed an Advanced Level, potential job roles include: Nursery Worker/Supervisor, Nursery Nurse/Nursery Teaching Assistant.
