IntroductionHR Professionals in this role are typically either working in a medium to large organisation as part of the HR function delivering front line support to managers and employees, or are a HR Manager in a small organisation. Their work is likely to include handling day to day queries and providing HR advice; working on a range of HR processes, ranging from transactional to relatively complex, from recruitment through to retirement; using HR systems to keep records; providing relevant HR information to the business; working with the business on HR changes. They will typically be taking ownership for providing advice to managers on a wide range of HR issues using company policy and current law, giving guidance that is compliant and where errors could expose the organisation to employment tribunals or legal risk.
Study OutlineThe expected duration of the Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship is 18-24 months and includes completion of the CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in Human Resource Management. You will also be required to evidence competency against a range of knowledge, skills and behaviours. The Apprenticeship culminates with an End Point Assessment (EPA) which includes a consultative project and professional discussion.
Entry RequirementsAll applicants must hold 4 GCSEs at grade C or above to include maths & English.
As an Apprentice you must be employed in a secure role within the HR function
EquipmentAccess to an e-portfolio will be provided
AttendanceAttendance for the CIPD Foundation Certificate is one evening per week. You will also have workplace visits by an Assessor
AssessmentThe CIPD Foundation Certificate is an assignment based qualification.
The End Point Assessment includes a consultative project and professional discussion
ProgressionFollowing completion of this Apprenticeship and securing a suitable role within your organisation you may progress to the Level 5 HR Consultant / Partner Standard
