|Introduction||This course is for those currently in a full teaching role in post-compulsory education. (Learners over 14 years of age). This|

|Entry Requirements||You must hold a PTLLS, AET or CET to qualify for course entry.|
You must also hold a Subject specific qualification at Level 3 or above, Literacy at level 2 and Numeracy at Level 1 (Level 2 to be achieved by the end of the

|Attendance||This course will run on a Friday from 09.30 - 14.00 for 34 weeks of the academic year.|
100% attendance is encouraged.
|Assessment||Assessment is via a combination of assignments and a minimum|
of eight teaching practice observations, over the 2 years.
|Progression||Successful completion of the Diploma can lead to the Foundation|
Degree in PCET, Masters Degree in PCET and Qualified Teacher
Status -Learning and Skills (QTLS).
Achieving QTLS status qualifies you to teach in schools to learners aged 14-16 as well as 16+.
