Work with us to achieve success through learning

You may have already worked in a Further Education College or a workplace training environment. You may be interested in bringing the skills that you’ve learned in industry or business. Either way, we have a range of opportunities as Lecturers, teaching our full-time students, or as Assessors, delivering apprenticeship training in workplace settings. We also have a wide range of support and administrative opportunities, while our MAT schools offer rewarding teaching roles.

We’d love to talk to you, whether you are currently working in education, wanting to return, or working in the industry and looking for a new challenge.

North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College are dedicated to giving young people and adults the skills that they’ll need to succeed in the modern world. We are committed to expanding our student and apprenticeship numbers, and we’re looking for people who have the experience and skills to share with our students and apprentices.

Ideally, you should have a teaching or an assessor qualification, but if you are unqualified, a willingness to achieve the qualification will always be considered as the College has the facilities to put you through this development. All we ask from you is the drive and the dedication to work towards the qualification, along with relevant industry experience and qualifications.

Crucially, you must share our values of

  • Respect and Nurture
  • Inspire and Aspire
  • Agile and Responsive
  • Honest and Accountable

We aim to attract the very best people into our college, people who are committed to providing an outstanding and inspirational student experience.

About us

The College has campuses in Nuneaton, Hinckley and Wigston, plus the Harrowbrook Training Centre. Our excellent facilities, strong partnerships with major employers and universities, and excellent international relationships have helped make us a sought-after place to study for thousands of young people and adults.

Students learning is enhanced through purpose-designed training areas and industry-specific equipment in areas including CAD Engineering, Hospitality & Catering, Construction and Electrical Installation.

Our Creative Arts campus in Hinckley has the best facilities in the region and offers students access to state-of-the-art computing facilities supported by industry-standard software and lecturing staff who are also skilled practitioners.

Both our Advanced Engineering Centre at the Nuneaton Campus and the Harrowbrook Construction Centre in Hinckley have been praised by regional businesses. Students can acquire traditional skills whilst also developing competencies in working with emerging technologies.

In September 2018, we have excitedly welcomed the opening of the MIRA Technology Institute (MTI) which is a 24,500 sq. ft. bespoke global skills centre on the grounds of MIRA Technology Park. Created to satisfy an ever-increasing demand for specialist skills in the automotive sector, it will be equipped to operate at the cutting edge of technology. The wide variety of training and education on offer is suitable for any organisation wishing to stay at the forefront of automotive practice.
