Construction

An Apprenticeship in Construction open up a huge range of career options, from jobs in painting and decorating, bricklaying, craft masonry, carpentry, joinery, shopfitting, maintenance and woodmachining.

Did you know? There are 1,817,049 employees in construction in England, and by the year 2015, a further 38,630 new recruits will be needed to fill the posts of those that retire or leave the industry. With the sector facing a skills shortage, there will be plenty of jobs available for those skilled in their trade!

Engineering

Engineering isn’t just boiler suits and oily hands, it’s an exciting, ever-evolving industry that opens up a huge range of career options, from jobs in aerospace and robotics to electronics, biotechnology and civil engineering, to name a few!

These Apprenticeships are designed to equip you to work at semi-skilled or qualified operator level (Level 2) or craft or technician level (Level 3), to carry out a variety of engineering and manufacturing processes.

Did you know? The spotlight is well and truly on Engineering, especially in the Midlands a world-renowned hub for engineering research and development.

An extra 130,000 people are expected to be working in engineering over the next five years, that’s just in the Midlands alone!

What’s more rewarding than making people feel great about themselves? We work with a wide range of salons across the region to provide hairdressing, barbering and beauty apprenticeships.

As part of these programmes you will not only develop your technical hairdressing and beauty therapy skills but also the personal and professional knowledge needed to work within a salon.

Computing is an integral part of everyday life. With technology developing at a faster rate than ever before, this is an ever evolving industry with a huge range of career options.

This programme will help you to develop skills in Software Development, Web Development, Technical Support, Telecommunications and Databases. 

Did you know? There is a need for 110,500 new entrants a year over the next 5 years into IT & Telecoms professional occupations.
