Apprentice Case Study - Stephen Clayton

South Leicestershire College (SLC)
"After completing my A-Levels, I decided I didn’t want to go to university. I felt that an Apprenticeship would be a good way to gain both educational and practical experience, so I applied for the role at SLC.
The staff at SLC have been very helpful and are supporting me fully through my Apprenticeship.
Apprenticeships are great because I am able to gain valuable work experience and a legitimate qualification.
In the future after I’ve completed my Apprenticeship and AAT Qualification, I would like to find a role in a finance department.
I would recommend Apprenticeships to anyone because it is a good way of transitioning from education to work"
Where are they now?
Stephen is now working in a full-time job in hospitality managment.
