Customer Service Apprentice
South Leicestershire College (SLC)
"I started my Apprenticeship in the library at SLC in November 2011, studying customer services. I finished my Level 2 within 6 months and am now working to complete my Level 3.
I have enjoyed my Apprenticeship because I’ve been able to work in different areas within a college to gain life and work experience, whilst achieving a qualification.
SLC has a good range of people, of all ages and therefore can make work life enjoyable as well as being serious. In addition to this, I have made some new friends whilst working within the college and I always feel treated like an equal, and not an Apprentice.
I would recommend an Apprenticeship to others because it is a rewarding experience with a chance to go further in whichever career path you choose."
Where are they now?
Kyonnah is now studying a Degree at De Montfort University, you can also find her working in the Library from time to time on a casual hours contract.
