South Leicestershire College (SLC)
"Having just left Guthlaxton College with 3 A levels in Economics, Maths & Psychology, I realised I wasn’t ready to go to University and wanted to get more experience in the working world,so I applied for the job here at SLC.
I chose an Apprenticeship because whilst starting a full-time job you are also able to gain a qualification, so to me it is the best of both worlds!
SLC have been amazingly supportive of me in my Apprenticeship. Being a Receptionist at SLC, I’ve been lucky enough to meet lots of new & interesting people. When I complete my Apprenticeship in July, I am going to study Economics & Finance at University.
Apprenticeships are a great way to gain experience and I would recommend them to everyone.
Where are they now?
Charlotte is now studying a Degree at De Montfort University and works at South Leicestershire College on Reception every Saturday.
