Customer Service Apprentice
South Leicestershire College (SLC)
“I studied media for 2 years at SLC, after my course I was at a loose end before a friend suggested I should try applying for an apprenticeship.
I chose to do an apprenticeship because whilst working and getting paid, I am also getting a qualification. I’ve met some amazing people throughout my apprenticeship and also I have learnt a lot of life skills. South Leicestershire College have been really supportive during my apprenticeship.
Whilst studying, I went to the Skills Show 2013 at the NEC and it was a great experience to represent the college in a different environment. After my apprenticeship, I hope to either go to university or have a full time job.
I would recommend apprenticeships to other people because it’s a great way to train and earn some money.”
