FE Choices is a full-time course that allows students to work on improving their English, Maths and ICT skills, alongside studying subjects such as:
• Catering & Healthy Living
• Hair & Beauty
• Health & Social Care
• Painting & Decorating
• Travel & Tourism
FE Choices students get to go on lots of cultural trips and visits too, see our video below!
Students who complete the FE Choices course go on to study full-time qualifications and Apprenticeships, feeling empowered because they have had the chance to try out lots of subjects to find the one that is right for them.
Students studying the FE Choices programme have created a film around the theme of being different.
As part of the Creative Media module, students were asked to prepare scripts and produce a short film that promotes the positive experience of people living with learning difficulties, including Autism, physical / mental disabilities, ADHD and anger problems.
This deeply touching film is a powerful celebration of what it is like to be different, and ultimately it makes us realise that we are all different in so many ways. The message is that we need to celebrate diversity in all of its guises.
