The Learning Resources Centre

South Leicestershire College has a fully stocked Learning Resources Centre (LRC) which supports the courses on offer. This means that whatever qualification you are studying, whether at Wigston or Market Harborough, you’ll find the most relevant material and up to date information.

If you are enrolled on a course you are automatically a member of the LRC and can come in with your college ID card to borrow items or use the computers.

Situated on the ground floor of the Hawthorne Building at our Wgston Campus, the LRC provides learners with a large selection of books, journals and newspapers. The LRC also has:

• 38 computers with access to the internet for study related use, all connected to printers
• Group and individual study areas
• Community, health and financial information
• A Careers Library
• Photocopying facilities
• 24/7 web-based access to a range of resources through Moodle, the colleges Virtual Learning Environment
• Audio visual equipment for loan eg. Cameras, projectors and tape machines

Opening Times (Holiday Time)
10.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday

Learners based at Market Harborough can also order books via Reception (at Market Harborough) or by email to the LRC at Wigston.
