Website Accessibility
SLC web accessibility means that users with disabilities can use our website.
To make our website accessible to all members of the public we have ensured that we meet the accessibility requirements as laid out in the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI).
We have incorprated a 'text size and colour' tool which allows users to adjust text size to suit their requirements:
- click on the A icons in the upper right corner of the page to adjust the font size accordingly
- click on the colour blocks in the upper right corner of the page to adjust colour accordingly
My Web My Way is a BBC run resource providing information on accessibility and enabling computer users to make the most of the internet whatever their ability or disability.
Should you experience any problems accessing this site please contact us on info@slcollege.ac.uk
SLC ensures that we meet the accessibility requirements as laid out in the by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) in the document WCAG 2.0 Guidelines. This is a technical document intended for web developers and is the industry standard for web accessibility. The guidelines can be viewed at: http://www.w3.org/WAI/intro/wcag. In addition to this, we use an analysis tool to check if our website meets all relevant accessibility criteria.
